I typically wear a 30" pant size, but ordered the 32" shorts not knowing how they would fit. I found I had to use the full extension of the waist adjusters to tighten them up, so I ordered another pair, size 30", and they fit perfectly! Excellent fabric, quality zippers, pockets can hold a large phone with an outer case on it. The 30" are more fitted which I like, the fabric stretches, so they don't feel tight, but offer a slim fit. If you prefer a more loose, casual riding short, maybe size up, you can always adjust the waist. I do wear a liner and it fits comfortably while wearing either size.
